Could not be a more perfect sky for background to this particular lighthouse. A lovely picture.

I really adore the lighthouse. Don't have too many uses for them in the mountains here so it's really neat to see them around the world!

I've got to show this to my Dad. He's a lighthouse aficionado!

A lovely sky watch. I have seen this lighthouse in real life. There's something about lighthouses and covered bridges that makes my imagination work overtime. I think the old days when there was a lighthouse keeper were so unique and maybe a little romantic, though I do know keeping a light was a lot of hard work. This shot is superb.

Thanks for dropping over to my Writing Nook. I hope you will visit again soon.

Blessings,
Mary

That's beautiful! Such an interesting sky with the stripes or blue and cloud. And a terrific lighthouse!

What a beautiful capture. It would have been nice without the unusual clouds, but they definitely add a lot of interest to it!

What a great lighthouse and the sky looks like a water colour painting. Happy SWF.

Lighthouses! I LOVE them so much. One thing I really miss from my New England choldhood is the sound of a forhorn. TRUE!
