Lovely photographs! An X with a view!
nice x good shoots to
Good idea for x!
Looks like a lovely spot.
a Xrossing with no barriers - that would be illegal in the UK - yet even with barriers cars still sometimes end up on the tracks with a train approaching.
Yes I agree with rena, it does indeed appear a beautiful place.
Great idea! We have many of these Railroad symbols around here!
great one - i love the symbolism.
we don't have railway crossings where i live, so it would've been hard to spot one of these!
A good idea for X; lovely shots too. I like the setting.
Isn't it amazing how many Xs there are in the world when we go looking for them.
eXcellent photo
Thank you for visiting my blog.
That's great that you also chose railroad crossings! They are different from the Dutch ones. Your post is great!
The monument of Etheldreda was in one of the great cathedrals in east England: Ely Cathedral. It is a very impressive building!
X is also a symbol for road crossing whent they are of equal importance in France.
X in small case ,x, is an unknown number in an equation.
Beautiful shots!
Oh yeah, I just about forgot the X used as a railroad warning sign. Interesting shots.
Hope you are having a great X day.
Thank you for your kind comment !Yes, it was cool to fond W shapes !
X crossing:same symbol in France, of course
I love your photos ..they seem very mysterious
Is it a corn field, like in the movie of Alfred Hitchcok? Will a plane come ?

Nice choice today! I like your Railroad Crossing photos!
So many X signs to be found outside. Very good.
Wonderful shots - great perception on X. I thought of it with a windmills sails, but couldn't get the shot. I'm glad you did this - it's different.
Thanks for visiting mine.

Windmills would have been great, and I have a picture of one! Maybe I can remember it for next time around.
I hope you managed to jump out of the way in time to escape the train - or X would have marked the spot...
Nice choice!
