Shadows in my winter garden for Shadow Shot Sunday
The fence running along our back property line was highlighted by shadows this morning.
After a heavy snowfall yesterday a bright sun this morning created many striking shadows in our garden area. Above the strong sun shining on out garden bridge highlighted the uprights on our bridge below its railings
Looking over our backyard from an upstairs window the blue shadow areas created a beautiful landscape of our open lawn area. Oh, How I long for summer and days spent gardening out doors. soon, "IF winter comes , can spring be far behind?" Percy B. Shelley

Lots of beautiful, snowy, winter wonderland captures this week and yours are superb! I think we're all getting tired of winter, but there is beauty to see if we take the time to look and you have! Gorgeous! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

I always find the snowy shadow shots so pretty. Maybe it's the stark contrast between the white snow and the dark shadows. Yours are no exception this week, just beautiful!
Your fence is perfect for beautiful shadows! And a garden bridge, oh how wonderful.

I love blue winter shadows. A beautiful garden, even in winter.
Spectacular! I think snow makes a great canvas for shadows. Really, really nice!
Sun and snow create wonderful photos. My post is very similar this week.
Wow.....very, very pretty. I'm not liking snow at my age anymore, but I do so enjoy viewing the scenes like these from my 'window'.

Hope your weekend has been treating you well.
IF SHADOWS COULD TALK
If shadows could talk,
Just what would they say?
If you listen close,
You’ll hear them, you may.
Shadows do chatter
And gossip and talk
In the store windows,
Along the sidewalk,
Over the mountains,
On prairie and plain,
Begging for sunshine
And not days of rain;
Emboldened by light,
The stark shadows say:
“We’re out for a lark,
Please join us at play!”
