Meadow and Woods


A white, adult male Northern Harrier can be seen flying low over the meadow.

I love the colours at this time of year and the woodlands and meadows are just waiting for that extra warmth and sunshine to blossom out fully. Each season has its own beauty and I enjoy them all. Glad that you both enjoyed the beauty as well.

I appreciate your comments. I like posting a single picture without feeling a need to use a lot of words and hopefully the picture can stand on its own and speak for itself.

I have only one good lens, 100-400 IS, for my Canon EOS 20D, which I used for this photo, but at other times I often use a fixed lens Sony DSC, 5.1 mp, for landscape shots.
