Fireworks in the Night Sky

Last evening a display of fireworks, in celebration of the New Year, highlighted the snowstorm in the night sky above our village. The flash on my camera captured both; the falling snow and the burst of red and yellow lights. Without the use of the flash, as seen below, the night sky appears clear though the heavy snowfall continued on during the colourful display.
