Love the first image. Almost looks like a 'ship of old' is sailing through the suburban area!!
Who said poles and wires, lines and so couldn't go well on photo?

Sometimes wires can spoil a pictures but like others have said this time they add to the whole image.. great Sky Watch pictures.

The cross T pole is also from a different era, for they are telegraph poles and are no longer in use today.

Tom, I thought I should post something with 'real sky' as my skyless ones on my nature tales haveing been showing more birds than sky for two weeks now!

I usually hate wires for they have ruined many a sunset (in my view :-) but in this case they seemed work to an advantage as they serve to anchor the scape a bit.
