Gaspereau Falls

This will soon become a very active scene of Gulls fishing for Gaspereau as the fish make their way upstream over the falls to their spawning grounds further upriver.

I looked in the pond today

Looking for frog eggs there

But all I could see was the blue of the sky

Beautifully reflected there

Maple Sugar Season

This very colourful painting, which is unsigned, is one I had bought at a flea market many years ago. As it hangs on my kitchen wall it is a visual reminder of the yearly spring sugaring season in New Brunswick.
