Trans-Canada All the Way

On previous road trips there were still some sections of the Trans-Canada highway single lane traffic west of Woodstock. However, just ten days ago we enjoyed surveying new landscapes as we travelled all the way to the Quebec border on the newly opened sections of the Trans-Canada. It is now entirely double-laned.

Happy Hallowe'en

This is the night all the costumed little 'trick or treaters' arrive on our doorstep and ring our doorbell looking for treats. It is a fun evening and we shall have over 100 treat bags ready to give out to our welcome Hallowe'en visitors. I wonder if we will beat our last year's record number of 132 visitors.

Subdued Colours

After a night of strong winds and rain many trees have lost their leaves and their magnificent colours are much diminished.
